About Matt

Matt Louie got his start in the voice-over world as an undergraduate student volunteering at the historic Crane Library (located on the campus of the University of British Columbia), narrating audio course books for visually impaired students. Since then, he’s been hooked on the microphone.

Driven by a passion to perform, and a mission to promote literacy and empower visually-impaired people with accessible information, Matt brims with excitement when it comes to bringing written text to life with sound and energy. His second career as a clinical therapist in British Columbia, Canada dovetails with his desire to help others and has strengthened his understanding of the spoken word’s power to create connections and promote positive change in people.

Having worked under the guidance of world-class voice coaches and continually seeking to learn from the best, Matt is committed to mastering his craft.

Most of all, he would love to help you with your next project!
